Reply. ydv13 • 1 yr. ago. I wouldn't do Metamucil since it bulks up the stool and might worsen the constipation. They recommended me to stop Metamucil while I was in treatment the second time when I relapsed because of the constipation history with my first treatment. Miralax would be better.
